The Indian driver, who won the Formula Trophy UAE title in 2024, comes into the team to take part on the last three rounds of the season after having earned remarkable single-seater racing experience.
It is an honour for GRS Team to confirm the arrival of Kai Daryanani to the team. The young Indian talent joins the Paterna-based squad to compete in Rounds 6, 7 and 8 of EuroCup-3, which will take place at Circuito de Jerez, Hungaroring and Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, respectively. Daryanani will take the wheel of the No. 70 car, which has been shared by several drivers on a part-time basis throughout the previous rounds.
At 21 years old, Daryanani brings extensive single-seater experience accumulated over the last four years. He made his formula racing debut in 2023, competing in multiple Formula 4 championships, including the British, Spanish and UAE series. Towards the end of the year, his participation in a GB4 round earned him his first single-seater victory. 2024 was a year of progression for Daryanani in British Formula 4, with a clear improvement in his results. He also competed in races in the Italian championship, among others. However, the highlight came at the end of the season, when he competed in the Formula Trophy UAE. There, Kai secured another victory and a total of four podium finishes to claim the championship title.
In 2025, Daryanani stepped up to higher categories, competing in the Formula Regional Middle East Championship, in GB3, where he secured two podium finishes; and in EuroCup-3. His 2026 season, prior to joining GRS Team, had Formula Regional European Championship as the main series, which has already concluded with Daryanani scoring points on several occasions. Kai will now look to round off the year with a strong performance in a championship he already knows, although the Dallara 326 will represent a completely new challenge for him.
“I’m very grateful to GRS Team for this opportunity and excited to get started. It will be my first time driving this car, and everything I have heard suggests that it is extremely quick, with impressive levels of grip and a great deal of potential. I’m looking forward to taking on this new challenge, learning the car and beginning our work together in Jerez next week”. – Kai Daryanani, driver.
“It is a pleasure for GRS Team to welcome Kai to the team, and we are grateful for the trust he has placed in us. Having a driver with such extensive experience and a strong track record across multiple championships will undoubtedly benefit us. We have already started working with him in the simulator and his performance has been excellent, so we are looking forward to Jerez, where we can begin building mileage and fighting for strong results on track”. – Josep Trinidad, CEO & Team Manager.
The next round of EuroCup-3, which will mark Daryanani’s debut with GRS Team, will take place from September 25–27 at Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto.
