The young Italian talent completes GRS Team’s line-up for the 2026 season, in which he will make his single-seater debut.
GRS is pleased to announce the addition of Dante Cima to the team. The Italian driver, who will compete under a Dutch licence, completes the team’s line-up for the 2026 Formula 4 Spanish Championship season. For the driver, this will mark his debut year in single-seater competition, with his race calendar set to begin this weekend at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, host of the opening round of the EuroCup-4 Spanish Winter Championship.
Dante comes into the team after accumulating three years of experience in karting. During that time, Cima competed in the Dutch National Championship as well as in multiple international events, mainly at circuits in Italy and Germany. In 2025, Dante made significant progress, breaking into the national Top 10.
Also in 2025, he began testing a Formula 4 car for the first time. In the final months of the year, Cima started his pre-season testing programme with GRS Team, where he has made considerable progress and demonstrated strong pace and potential, along with solid adaptability and teamwork. Dante is now ready to make the competitive step from karting to single-seaters.
“I am very excited to drive my first season of F4 this year. It will be challenging considering the fact that I don’t have the race experience my fellow drivers have but I will make the best of it and push to the finish line!”. – Dante Cima, driver.
“We welcome Dante to the team and are looking forward to starting the season and seeing what he is capable of. The pre-season tests have been positive for both the driver and the team, and we are confident that he will be able to translate the potential shown into race performances”. – Josep Trinidad, CEO & Team Manager.
